I truly enjoyed having breakfast, it was great. The hotel was set in a very central area near shops, cafes all along the walk and all the shops, bars and restaurants. There was The Lakeland Sandwich Shop nearby, offering quick meals.

I had a wonderful four-night stay at this hotel during Christmas week. The friendly staff made us feel right at home, and the cleanliness of the rooms was commendable. The large, comfortable rooms offered a cosy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Breakfast was a highlight, with a varied menu, and the location was ideal for walks. Plus, the bar area was lively and dog-friendly, which added to the charm of our visit.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The charm of the old inn added to our experience, despite some shortcomings—like the delayed breakfast. The staff were friendly, and the dining was enjoyable, although noisy at times. Being close to landmarks like Fitz Park made family bonding easy, creating lasting memories during our brief visit.

I had a rough night because the noise was unbearable. People were partying outside my window until 4 AM, and despite my complaints, nothing changed. It felt like I was stuck in a noisy dorm rather than a hotel.

I had an amazing Christmas getaway! The location is super convenient-close to the town center and beautiful scenery for exploring. My room was spacious, comfy, and had all the essentials, perfect for cozying up after a day outdoors. The staff were genuinely friendly and cute, making my stay even better!
I did find the noise from the pub a bit disruptive at night, especially with the windows open. parking can be tricky due to the narrow streets and limited spots. But overall, it was a good experience!
